How to Look Natural with Colored Contact Lenses
Colored contact lenses have the tendency to make you look unnatural. Many individuals feel awkward talking to other people because their eyes look too peculiar for human peepers. This is the reason why it is more advisable to stick with natural eye color, especially for those who wear lenses on a daily basis. However, for party and Cosplay purposes, wearing costume contact lenses, which are bold and mostly bizarre, are acceptable.
But how would you look natural with a pair of colored contacts? The first thing that you have to consider in buying lenses is your skin tone. There are two types of skin tones and these are warm and cool. You have warm skin tone if your undertones are yellow; and you have cool skin tone if your undertones are blue. Warm colors would be hazel, green, honey and brown contact lenses. These would be good for you if you have warm undertones. Cool colors would be blue and violet contact lenses, which would look good and natural on you if you have cool undertones.
The second thing to check is the fit of the lenses. Contact lenses normally move as you blink, but not excessively. The move should not bother you at all and must not cause discomfort; because if it does, you need to see your optician to replace your lenses or to check its fit. Each individual has unique eye contour and shape of cornea. This is why getting the right fit is necessary to avoid hurting the eye or causing damage to it.
